Walker John Doe investigation suspect waives preliminary hearing

MILWAUKEE - A former staff member of Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee County Executive has waived her right to a preliminary hearing.

Kelly Rindfleisch, who was Walker's deputy chief of staff, allegedly did campaign work while on the clock working for the County.

Prosecutors say she sent more than 1,000 fundraising e-mails while on the clock, working for the county.

Rindfleisch appeared well dressed and calm as she appeared before a court commissioner in Milwaukee.

A John Doe investigation by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office led to four felony charges against Rindfleisch.
